The one-on-one service I offer is a combination of therapy and coaching, tailored to your needs and stage of growth. Therapy tends to focus on understanding and healing the past, while coaching tends to focus on maximizing what’s working and realizing potential into the future. I call my approach integrated therapy and coaching. Here’s the basic framework:

  1. Awareness: Learn to live (and love) your life in the present moment. Get really honest with yourself about what’s working and what isn’t. Wrestle with questions no one else is asking you. 

  2. Labeling: Nonjudgmentally identify your patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior. Understand your values and boundaries. Take proactive responsibility. 

  3. Create space: Gain tools and techniques for creating psychological, emotional, physical space. Cultivate flexibility. Invite in empathy. This is where you will discover room to grow. Challenge black and white thinking. Imagine what’s possible. 

  4. Action: Articulate new behaviors you will try in the real world. What are you willing to do to interrupt your old patterns of action? This will include journaling, thought exercises, mindset shifts that undergird new habits. This might include morning and evening routines. This is where you put our sessions into practice.
